I do mTurk, Prolific, and Swagbucks. Swagbucks is almost not worth it at this point, imo. It’s very low paying. I probably get each month: ~$40 from mTurk, ~$10 from Prolific, ~$3 from Swagbucks.

Is that a squash or a pumpkin?

I’ve had a range of dog park experiences. When we had a single dog, she was in the dog park daily and loved it. But the experience definitely depended on the other dogs present and the quality of their owners. She had 3-4 other puppies that were all about the same age and would play together amazingly well. But over time the regulars at the park changed and the quality of owner went down hill. We stopped going after seeing some scary stuff. Our dog also matured a bit and didn’t get as much out of it.

Dog parks are great until they aren’t. I’d say keep going but be ready to leave if any low quality owners arrive.

Honeynut is basically a smaller, more concentrated butternut squash.

So a pumpkin then?

Haven’t we had this squash/pumpkin/zucchini/courgette conversation before?

I honestly have no idea. From Wikipedia: “Cucurbita moschata is a species originating in either Central America or northern South America. It includes cultivars known as squash or pumpkin.” I give up!

Haha yeah - I’m just being annoying.

There’s even an Italian heirloom cultivar of C. moschata called “rampant zucchini” that’s meant to be picked in the green summer squash stage.

Plenty of other crops have lots of names for same species, like all the types of tomatoes, dry/shell/snap/string/green beans, shell/snap/snow peas, etc but I suppose what makes squash unusual is that there’s 4 species (and 3 of them very common) with overlapping names.

Peppers might end up that way, there are apparently quite a few cultivated varieties in Latin America that aren’t Capsicum annum

Peppers? Do you mean capsicum or chilli?

I have now been doing Swagbucks for a few hours and have made roughly $3 of gift card equivalence. What am I doing wrong?

Nothing - I mostly get kicked out of surveys, likely because I don’t buy enough stuff.

Sounds about right. It’s a massive waste of time. (I’ve never done it, but my wife did it for a while.)

Yeah, I am disappointed, at least with Swagbucks. May try others but for now… I could have made more by doing an hour of real work and cashing out that hour in June or whatever.

If you’re hoping for remuneration even approaching minimum wage from any of those services, you will be sorely disappointed

I do at least close to minimum wage with prolific. I bailed on swagbucks years ago.
