One note here- there’s also a caveat for number of employees within a certain geographic area. That was one hang up with husband’s FMLA. Huge company, but a lot of WFH and spread out, so he was exempt.
They may notice. I get comments on not wearing pants every once in a while and I basically say yeah, I don’t wear pants. Skirts and dresses are great! Embrace the comfort.
(I do own and occasionally wear pants. I have three pairs. They are for hiking and occasionally yoga.)
I keep mine hung in the closet, though, so I can’t answer the other part of your question.
Is this…
An announcement?
Only an announcement that we’ll be trying to have an announcement of pregnancy in 12 months
Whoops I didn’t see your question earlier. Every state has their own guidelines around privacy and medical records, but in general for federal HIPAA mistakes -
Yes, contact the office that sent you the other person’s information.
Legally the only person who has a right to file a complaint is the person whose privacy was violated. If there is contact information on what you received, you can contact that patient yourself and let them know you received their info (you have no legal exposure and you have not done anything wrong by reading their information).
Hmm. I use Paypal for Prolific and haven’t had any problems with this (although I haven’t done a Prolific transfer in two or three months). There should be a way to use it without banking with them.
The problem is fairly new, I think. I used Paypal for a purchase a month or so ago and now can’t accept money. I did discover I can just have them transfer the money to a linked bank account, so I’m linking my throwaway/no overdraft ties “internet” checking account and just bypassing them altogether.
It’s a real pain, considering I’ve been with Paypal for 20 years,** but there you have it.
** How did that even happen?
Ahhhh okay yeah, I’ve had a linked bank account since like… 2008. So that completely goes around that.
I had one, but unlinked it a few months back (because it was not the “internet” one). Maybe that caused the issue.
I don’t know how big your house project is, but if you apply for the Chase Freedom credit card right now, you can get $200 bonus with a $500 spend in 3 months. Also, they are offering account holders a 10% off at Lowe’s for the next 44 days. That’s what made me think of you. Don’t know if you’re interested in applying for a credit card, but the bonus could make your project much cheaper.
I’m considering getting a folding grocery hand cart. I live about a mile from Trader Joe’s and suspect that having a cart will make me much more likely to do more grocery runs without the car (especially whenever we eventually stop living in this idiotic pandemic world).
What should I look for in a good hand cart? I’ve never actually used one before.
I’ve never owned one but just observing folks in my neighborhood I’d want handles to come high enough you don’t need to slightly bend over the entire time. Something you can push or pull would also be easier on the back than something you can only pull. That might mean something like a used baby stroller though, I’m not sure how those grocery hand carts handle if you try to push them. I once fit like 3 or 4 cases of beer in our stroller, lol, got a couple funny comments on my way home about my “special babies”.
Interesting, the only ones I’m familiar with are push ones - kind of like a dolly, but with a cage.
The point about height is a very good one. Stooping for a mile or more sounds shitty, especially on the downhill portion.
You don’t want the cheap ones with fixed wheels, especially if you have rough side walks. You want some sort of pivoting wheels or it will be a world of frustration. Personally, I hate the carts and much prefer going backpack style with it- but that’ll obviously vary by person.
Ooo yes good to know re wheels too. We have decent sidewalks, but still.
Backpack is too small if I want to do roughly one shop a week. I also find it super unpleasant in 80+ heat (swampback is real), though that’s less of a concern in a lot of ways than capacity.
The kind mail carriers with walking routes use seem cool - but I don’t think I have ever seen anyone else ever use something that style.
Where is a good place to get art prints made from photos? Not the standard glossy photo print.
Do you want it like a poster or matted and framed? Poster style a local print shop might be worth asking. Framed, often there are specialty galleries that do this.
Costco has a surprising number of options. And good prices.
@druidessie - I have a frame already. I want better quality than a poster. This shop might be good, need to see if their largest option is big enough.
@Bracken_Joy - thanks! Apparently you need a membership to use it.
