PSA: Change your passwords if you've ever used Lastpass

Digital hygiene PSA! Lastpass is a popular password manager and they had a big, big data breach.

If you have ever used Lastpass you should assume all of your passwords have been stolen and change them ASAP. And put 2FA on any important accounts like financial accounts or your email.

I like 1Password and Bitwarden if anyone is looking for alternative password managers.

I guess that’s going on my January to-do list…

I have replaced a ton of passwords and ordered new credit cards, since they were all stored in LP. My passwords list is so long, but I think I’ve covered the most important ones to start. Thanks for the heads up, I saw an email about this but kind of ignored it.

I’ve been using Bitwarden for a year now and it’s great. Hoping there’s never a breach, ugh it’d be so annoying!

Me too at first!

I remember reading an email from LastPass but my impression was that the breach was nothing to worry about!

I’m so glad that I steadfastly refuse to let it (or my phone or browser) store my credit card info.
