I think I’m going to take up the shoulders of this dress by half an inch or so. Then it will be perfect. I was afraid it would be more sheer but I’m wearing a black bra and can’t see it!
I’m a lot more disappointed in the skirt and shirt. Both are too big. I may try exchanging the shirt for a size smaller. The big bummer is that I figured even if the sleeves are too long, the cuffs would make them stay in place and it would just make the bishop sleeves more dramatic, but the cuffs are by NO means small enough for that. The skirt would probably fit in the waist if I went a size down, but it’s also a lot longer than I thought it would be and feels overwhelming.
I bought a brand new shirt/jacket thing! I believe this is the first piece of clothing I have purchased since Covid, and definitely the only clothing brand new that I’ve purchased this year, so I’m pretty stoked. Also maybe the wildest thing I own?
I couldn’t decide which hamster to hide my face with and then I started to feel bad for the hamster that might get excluded, so I used both.
Throwback Thursunday. @TrisPrior had me thinking about by bygone goth days so I dressed up a bit to go to the grocery store. I like the pants - there’s embroidery on the hip and also the opposite shin - but they definitely fit better before almost a year of quarantining. And new boots!
Is this a tunic top? I got it well over a year ago trying to branch out my style, it was meant to be written in an over air-conditioned office then disappeared to the back of my closet.
Tunics for me when that I could theoretically wear them without pants. All bits are covered. You wouldn’t wear them without pants because you would be one deep inhale away from indecent exposure charges but the length is there.
