Thank you! It used to be a completely different sweater, a pullover knit with thick horizontal stripes. Now it is a cardigan crocheted with zigzags! It is one of my favorite garments I’ve made.
As a person who makes her living with ethically made clothing, feel free to talk about the cost (if you want to, that is!) too many people want to talk about how little they spent on clothing, but then clam up when you ask how it was made. More people should talk about the cost of ethically made goods.
Also, it looks 10/10 cozy and those pockets seem like they’d be perfect for keeping hands toasty
This sweater was a panic buy at buy buy baby a few weeks after Bobbin was born. I was on the fence about the fit but desperately needed winter clothing I could nurse AND leave the house in and this was all they had. I like it much more now, thankfully.
That’s excellent for a panic buy! That’s better suited to you than planned purchases I make haha.
A few weeks PP it was a lot tighter and I wasn’t sure what my body was going to do so I worried I’d be uncomfortable in it and it would never get worn, but I needed something immediately. I’m glad it worked out and I’m still wearing it!
Yay! Thanks for posting more outfits. And I forgot to take a picture of mine this morning Well, I’m sure I’ll wear this combination again.
Crow and plainjane, I love your outer layers!
That sweater looks like something I’d buy not under emergency circumstances. It’s cute. I’m a sucker for stripes, I admit. But I also like the button detail.
Ok, that hoodie was 335+tax cdn
I was going to say that is more than any of my suit jackets, but I have a suit jacket from the same designer, so that is probably a lie.
Today I ended up in a surprise meeting with my sr vp. My boss’s boss’s boss. So I am glad I was in this vs sodden jeans.
I received compliments on the sweater (handknit) and the shoes from separate folks.
you MADE that sweater??
*bows down"
Extra appreciation for the sweater! I love the color. I also admire anyone who has the stamina to knit a sweater.
@Clare-Dragonfly I remembered to take a picture!
Outfit for baby story time at the library and running errands
That poncho is 500% my style, you look so cute and comfy!
Thanks! It is very comfy, and useful. Has a hood for the PNW drizzle, has a big pocket in front for my phone or cold hands or whatever. I want to wear it every day.
