Old address on tax forms

For various reasons, I am mailing my 2021 taxes in now. I filled the forms out last year, when I lived in a different home. I already sent in my 2022 taxes with my new address.

Do I need to modify the 2021 forms before mailing them in? I used a free tax prep service, and I don’t know if they will even let me modify forms from previous years.

2021 forms: old address
2022 forms: new address
IRS, receiving forms at the same time: WHO ARE YOU??? AUDIT TIME!!

If your mail forwarding from your OLD address is still working (usually 6 months) then I would not modify. If not, I would modify

Dammit. Mail forwarding ended April 1.
