Looks great for climbing.

Haha yes my thought was that would be an excellent spot from which my child would launch herself at me. But then. All furniture is, really.

I’d like a new coarse filter to go on the water tank outlet to filter out the crud in the tank before it blocks the check valve.

This will ensure we have an insurance policy so we don’t go without water in the house for two days while we sort out all the plumbing/pumping issues.

That sounds like a smart and reasonable thing.

This sounds like a very specific thing that maybe is related to some very recent events in your household… Like maybe something got clogged, say…

I spent kind of a lot of money on a rug recently (I mean, I thought it was a lot but there were many, many much more expensive rugs in the store) and I don’t regret it even a tiny bit. I love my rug so much! Maybe more than is reasonable to feel about a rug? I look at it every day and admire it and just love it. So my advice is go with something you really, really love.

It will take up a huge percentage of visual space in my home, so I do want something good. Maybe not thousand dollar tiger rug good though

I’m a clumsy guy and can 100% guarantee I would trip over that irregularly shaped rug.

I want an instant pot but do not know which one. So i continue to procrastinate, instead of actually reading up on them.

Please get the bigger one. Small instant pot owners regret not being able to fit a whole chicken in for broth/stock making purposes, from what I’ve read.

There’s a use versus storage space sweet point for everyone. We actually have a smaller one and a larger one, because we keep the small one every single day on our counter for rice, but we like having a large one in reserve to do whole chickens and multiple pots for hosting and things like that. I think most people would be covered by a sort of medium size one, unless they have very restricted storage space. But if you’re ever going to be doing big cuts of meat the large one is really helpful if you have the space for it. I love to be able to do a whole pork shoulder from frozen.

Its to replace my slow cooker for stews and roasts… Big one it is.

Do i want the air fryer lid?

Pretty much. Check valve on tank had a stuffed seal. Check valve replaced. New check valve clogged in the first minute with debris from tank.

Never mind the tank cleaning guys have been asked to come over and clean the tank, they’re due today.

Never mind the pump controller on the pump went on the fritz and cut in and out while you were having a shower, leaving me one day lathered in soap and a head full of conditioner with no water for rinsing.

Never mind the previous owner had cobbled together PVC parts and jammed them together with brass threaded fittings and over tightened causing permanent leaks.

You know, just things.

We opted for a stand alone air fryer/toaster oven because we made big batches and the results seemed better based on reviews. BUT if it’s air fryer lid versus no air fryer then probably yes? I think @economista had an air fryer lid from a photo I saw?

We have a convection oven, i may skip the lid.

I hope you have a reliable water source soon.

I actually have 2. One is the smaller instant pot and it is mainly used for rice and hard boiled eggs. We also have the ninja version, which is much bigger for bigger slow cooking things and it has an air fryer lid and basket.

We really needed 2 because we quite often make slow cooker meals that are served over rice so we need to have them both running together.

Yep this is why we have 2. BBQ pork bowls ahoy :joy: for example.
