Unfortunately looking at reviews, it seems to be “the one I had before was awesome, the new ones have gone down a lot in quality” :(. Like everything in the world.

Stitch this in a pillow. True, like, everywhere now.

I too have a corded wahl trimmer. A receding hairline made the choice for me three years ago and I don’t regret it at all.
I think we call them hair clippers in the shops here.

I also have a corded Wahl. It works fine for me and my hair! and didn’t cost too terribly much either.

THANK YOU. This actually got me what I’m looking for. Previously it brought up beard + hair “all in one” trimmers.

Yeah that’s usually a sub par experience of both. More a shaver with a side burn trimmer on attached.

Oh and don’t be lured into buying anything radical looking. I’m talking oval shaped ones that go in the palm of your hand. By all reports they’re terrible. A work colleague tried on and ended up looking like he lost a fight with a lawn mower.

I found a Wahl one with pretty good reviews, still “not as good as the old one” but good enough. But it’s backordered until April 7th. Everyone is cutting their own hair, I guess.

My LYS is doing a KAL for a cute summer top in organic cotton worsted and I waaaaaaant it. But it’s $78 in yarn and maybe $16 in a new needle I don’t yet have. Do I need a summer knit? Maybe? I wanna do it but I also have current sweater that is not done, and cover shawl that is taking forever. So I should probably finish those first. But still…I wants it.

I want someone to make decisions for me on fabric. I may post the options here.

I mean… this seems like a damn good forum for that.

A set of shelves, preferably with some cupboards on the bottom section that is no more than 700mm wide and 400mm deep in a timber finish.

Got a specific spot in mind for it in the new place, between the laundry door and the bathroom door.

Probably precisely because banks are reducing mortgage lending, I’ve started obsessing over flats again.

Look how cute this is! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-90418043.html

Or if I rented out a room, this one has such big bedrooms! And a balcony! https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-90297362.html

Those places are both super cute. I love the kitchen in that first one especially!

It is! And the giant bookshelf! And the beams!

I have a suspicion that it’s probably so cheap because there’s road noise, but a girl can dream :stuck_out_tongue:

I like the look of the shower/ bath in the second one.
