I don’t know how some people seem to order them every week! The flavors were…fine? But nothing to go nuts about IMO.

Fear not. Our bill is likely equivalent or worse.

This happens to me, too! At this point I include spendy dinners and stuff in my budget because that is my rich life babyyyyyy

Friendly reminder that there are lots of sales right now. If you need summer or spring items this is the time to buy them! If you wait another two weeks you’ll miss the boat. I just got a really cute dress from my favorite petite only designer (and tbh the only one I’m aware exists), a lightweight rain jacket from Columbia, and some extra sets of underwear. I think the least discounted amount was 30%.

Ohhh who’s the designer? This lady needs pants!

It’s a bit expensive!

I also like eShakti for made-to-measure things. I’ve never purchased pants from them but I have several dresses and I’m really happy with them 3+ years of wear in.

My boss gets them sometimes for the staff breakroom so this is actually a point in favor for that purpose - we divide them into 6+ pieces so you can do a little nibble and try different flavors. Mostly I think it’s just that it’s convenient for the boss’ commute though!

They have some lovely pieces. Not really my style, but bookmarking to check back on. Thanks!

I thought their fall season was super underwhelming :frowning: but I like their sun dresses.

I have one amazing dress from eShakti (although it’s a little long). The second they tried 4 times and had to give me a refund. I might try one more time after the breastfeeding era.

a graph. I suspect it will be the best graph I have for August.

Settled up monthly food/cat expenses with Boyfriend.
Grocery total for August: $552.65. Oof.

Did my monthly grocery shopping and last month spent 150 and this month 229. Ugh!

Anyone else taking advantage of $3 movie day? We’re going to see Bullet Train!

Woah cool, I hadn’t heard of this! I would definitely take advantage if I were up for it. Great deal.

Walmart groceries done from my phone on the way home. $8 delivery fee saves so much time and impulse purchases.

I did not meal plan. We are having fruit and veggies and pantry staples and eggs and tofu and salmon. Done

I need to meal plan. The freezer situation is not great.

My meal plan for next week consists of brinner so far. I have zero other ideas and shopping happens in thirteenish hours.

we had salad with feta and fried eggs for dinner today. Brinner is always a good backup plan.

Sunday: salad with bell peppers, feta & honey-lime dressing, hamburgers
Monday: braised short ribs, green onion, bell pepper, cilantro on glass noodles
Tuesday: zucchini fritters with feta & green onions
Wednesday: sweet potato home fries, braised short ribs, green onions
Thursday: probably out for drinks for my new contract gig

ETA: Revisions

Sunday - salad with trout gravlax, egg, bell pepper
Monday - cheesy soup with toasts
Tuesday - stuffed peppers with turkey sausage, feta, zucchini, rice
Wednesday - braised short ribs, bell pepper, green onion, cilantro, sweet potato home fries
