Million Dollar Business Idea

Do they sell those (what aisle/department??) or is that a DIY idea?

Like I’m sure I could make it but I also think it’s an unfilled market niche for the lazies. Also, home frozen things have big ice crystals and I’d like Good Popsicle Texture. Because I am a picky princess

They do exist! They freeze a little harder than a an otter pop or other freeze pop in a plastic tube, but aren’t like straight ice cubes, and at my Target they are in the baby section

I don’t think I’ve ever been the one to physically buy them, but yeah, freezies sold as liquid in a tube. Actual popsicles are waiting to be developed by you! I vote sour lemon

They sell them at Walgreens here, but I will admit as a fellow picky popsicle eater, the texture isn’t great. Better if you leave them out for a few min

The Conversation Verifier: Marriage edition.

Both spouses wear little unobtrusive recording devices. Devices are so smart with AI that when I tell mine to play back the conversation I had with DH where I told him X while he’s claiming I did not tell him X, it’ll go right to that moment in time and playback when I told him X and Loud enough that he can hear it.

It will stack all of my voice recordings where I told DH X and it will name those dates and times.

There was a crazy good book I read a million years ago about roughly this- all crime was settled through recordings, but then two (three?) people went into a deep mine where the recordings didn’t work and there was a murder, and it was the justice system grappling with he said she said type stuff. Oooh I wish I could remember what it was.

Oh was that in Exhalations by Ted Chiang? I read that a couple of months ago and it was really cool - though it very much takes the angle that we are quite bad at knowing ourselves and get suprised by the “proof”!

It was not! I’m getting to remember the author and having a rough time - I’m going to need to go through my Storygraph.

that was probably the one I was thinking about, that the father remembered something one way, and it was another
