The only thing I was told before my first phone call with the Nevada team was: DONâT SAY NEVAHDUH OR THEY WILL NEVER TRUST YOU.
My team and I had a huge discussion today on how to pronounce this.
Because I keep seeing it spelled âNe-vah-duhâ for the âwrongâ way; but thatâs not actual phonetic spelling, and my brain can get both a short and long a out of how that is written.
Itâs a long a, right? âNe-vad-uhâ? I think thatâs what I say.
(It doesnât help that I live not far from a âNuh-vay (sounds like âwayâ)-duhâ thatâs spelled Nevada)
Vad as in âbadâ or âgladâ is the correct one.
Donât do the one that sounds more Spanish, thatâs the wrong one.
Yeah, I can also get either spelling out of that, but I donât know the phonetic language anyway. I just told my brain: pronounce it the way that feels wrong.
Me to every Trump supporter in AZ right now.
If weâre going there, donât forget the map of places Johnny Cash has been:
My small hometown is one of those Cash heads
Literally, he has been everywhere.
Not a meme, but this made me laugh so hard I cried.
I have no idea - but Iâm pretty sure my australian accent is butchering it. neVAAAAHHDAAAH?
