What concerns me is this guy is an English professor (apparently). He should know better than to write sentences like “I also have Covid, and the divorce is getting messy,” implying that the two are connected
But I really love “against my best wishes, I have been shot.” Just…
We have drive through early voting. I wish there was drive through flu shots. Don’t make me get out of my car. Just jab through the window and let me move on.
One of my friends in California just took her kids through one! She was like “I hope they do this every year, them being strapped in was so much easier!”
I had a nurse, doctor, my mum and my grandma hold me down to get an anti-vomiting shot when I had been ill for a few days and theoretically shouldn’t’ve had any strength left. I was 6.
Fortunately for all I worked out how to manage myself before being a teen
Spill the beans, @rural. What was the shooting? Has he recovered from covid? Did anyone pass the exam or did they all spend their study time making up theories about their professor’s situation?? Is he ok?
I’ll have to investigate further on the details. He is real, Covid test was positive but no or unnoticeable symptoms last I heard, and I have no info on shootings, divorces, exams, or similar catastrophes.
One of my professors last night apologized for not getting an assignment up on time.
“This year just sucks”.
(Though he also said he doesn’t provide rubrics because real life doesn’t provide rubrics. That’s B.S.)
