I request an explanation of the pretty flowers. Are they all different kinds of milkweed except the one in the middle?

Not all milkweed , middle top is butterfly bush (I think). So I suspect it’s a variety of plants butterflies feed on. Milkweed is where Monarchs lay their eggs (I think I’ve got that right - it’s been a long time)

They’re all types of milkweed, the middle is tropical milkweed. It blooms overwinter, keeps the monarchs from migrating at the correct time, results in die off of them. Plus pathogen harboring.

I wonder how much of the “$255 on hobbies” is the number of people who don’t see watching TV/movies or reading(buying) books or travel as hobbies?

What if gardening is not a hobby but a way of life. That’s fine right??? Asking for a friend who spent way more than $255 on gardening this year…
