And that’s not dumping. That’s literally how much of my family and friends say it, and probably I did in my youth. (Edit: just realized this wasn’t the one that started the upset. I hadn’t looked that closely at the other map.)

Happy to delete it, but I did think it was cute as someone whose accent has slowly been evolving more southerly since I’ve been in the South for almost 20 years now but grew up way North.

No, the map I posted with new NB names dropping. I didn’t realize Alabama (which should be “labama”) instead said “ncest” as a super tacky joke about rural incest. I completely missed that swap and just thought the silly state NB names was the whole joke.
