Six months from now it will be the same thing, except substitute the sun for the clouds.
I’m less pop culture literate than I sometimes claim. Who are the other guys?
The Rock, Chris Rock, and Kid Rock

Wait stacking cans as a baby is an autism thing?
I keep hearing things (lining up toy cars, sorting Pokemon cards and decks of cards) people say are autism things and I’m like “I did those but I didn’t think I was autistic.”

It is both developmentally typical AND can be a sign of autism. Like so much in mental health, it’s about the extremes. Lots of autism things CAN be totally expected in a NT kid too- head banging, stimming, tip toe walking, lining things up, etc all can be expected. But usually autism kiddos will have a lot of those features, for a long time, whereas a NT kid it’s more transient and 1-2 of those things. And on top of that, it’s about the classic presentation of autism vs less typical ones.
Thank you for the explanation!
