I’d totally chat your ear off about topics like that
I’m like, ooh, we could compare notes on the nursing perspective vs. the early learning librarian perspective!
My main soap box lately is just that very young brains are incapable of grasping sharing, and stop apologizing for your one year old not sharing they’re not doing anything wrong. It’s not a reflection on your parenting.
I ended a relationship with my cousin over this precise thing
Also maybe it’s ok not to share sometimes anyway. Good boundary setting!. Let the kid enjoy his toy. He’s just trying to live his life.
Yep. Asking someone to share shouldn’t automatically mean “Gimme that”. They’re allowed to say no. Which reminds me I should probably dust off our copy of “Llama Llama Time To Share” before we start socializing more.
Seconded.
I’m tired just reading that list.
And it’s also a list of some of my favourite things.
“don’t gossip” being on there is cracking me up “be pure for You, but especially don’t talk about me behind my back” LOL
I stopped reading after “Don’t sit on the couch and wait for it. Get out.” so I missed the “no” at the bottom. Couldn’t even be bothered to read the whole thing. Or get out of my chair.
I didn’t copy the image but let me add this sentiment I saw the other day: “Due to supply chain issues, unfortunately I am out of fucks to give.”
Chefs kiss they’re on a boat somewhere, go find them
golf claps
Wait wait wait. So I shouldn’t have this many hobbies?
I mean. Do if you want. But don’t feel pressured to!
The Planet Money episode I listened to explained they might also be stuck at a port.
