Love is Blind Season 3

Oh man, you should watch it! I was 100% on her side before seeing it.

Spoilers

It’s at the end of the reunion and…I mean it is definitely not what she described. They left a lot of context in so you can see the whole lead up and she’s actually pretty awful to him and he’s very innocuous. Especially when she framed it as a smoking gun! And claiming that the editors left out him behaving badly to save his reputation? She was like, “that’s your saving grace they didn’t include that” and I think that pissed off the editors so they included the entire scene. Like that’s not how reality tv works, lol, they looooove a villain edit. (I dated a tv/film editor.) Wild twist!

My feelings now are:

Cole is still a sexist manboy and absolutely not a catch. He was awful to Zanab and there’s no excuse for that.

Zanab has serious covert-narc-level manipulation issues and is in complete and total denial about it.

I completely agree. I was mostly team Zanab until the reunion…but I thought it was wrong of her to not break it off before the wedding, like she was clearly unhappy and did not have to go to the altar (I don’t think, right? Are they contractually bound to actually HAVE a wedding?)…Anyway I think Cole is terrible and Zanab has her own problems

IDK if they can break it off before the wedding! But even if she had to go through with the wedding part it was especially weird how she had them pray together first. Like that’s obviously going to make him think they are all good and about to say yes. But whole demeanor changed the second she started her speech which made it seem planned to me. And not just like that she planned to say no and say why, but like she specifically wanted him to have no idea it was coming. I wonder when in the process she decided to do it. I think very early on!

And in the clementine footage it was weird how he was trying to talk to her about visiting her family in England and even doing a ceremony there if she wanted and she was like, evasive and rude? Makes me think she had already decided she was saying no and that’s why she was sidestepping conversations about future plans. And the comment about how she didn’t like to listen to him talk? Like damn, lol.

OH and what about the whole him getting a girl’s number during the bachelor party? It was weird how two of the guys were immediately like “there weren’t any women there” and the others claimed to have either gone home from the main party or not remembering if they went anywhere else, like no one saw this happen? And those guys were totally fine with dragging him! Like if they were with him when this supposedly shady stuff happened…I think they would have said so. I could see her making that up and not really knowing it. Like maybe he made a disrespectful joke and now she’s replaying it as “he almost cheated on me the night before our wedding.”
