I was at a place recently that claimed to have “fries” come with burgers but it was, in fact, little diced potato bits that were pan fried. Not finger food, not the same texture, spiced so it wasn’t the right flavor either. The waitress said they were home fries. The menu just said fries, I wonder how often the wait staff have to clarify home fries every day.
