Not so much funny as heartwarming. Watching someone enjoy one of my favorite albums for the first time is just so gooooood

I need to send this to my dad. He was a medical technologist for nearly forty years.

A lot of you are talking donuts so I’m sharing this… https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/more-than-120-cars-line-up-for-krispy-kreme-doughnuts-in-mississauga

When Perth opened its first Krispy Kreme store there were people camping overnight and a massive line of cars. not sure if it got to 120 at one time though.

When I first moved to California everyone was like, “you have to try Krispy Kreme donuts they are soooooo good!” But I grew up in Dunkin’ country (and back when they used to make the donuts actually at the stores, which is, I think, ancient history now), and to me they taste like sugary air. :joy: Give me a nice cake donut (preferably Boston cream or Bavarian cream) any day. I don’t know what the Krispy Kreme hype is!

I have only tried one donut in my life and that was from Krispy Kreme, I didnt get the hype but maybe I should try some different ones.

Krispy Kreme used to give out a dozen donuts if you dressed up like a pirate on “Talk Like a Pirate Day”. My wife, all three kids, and two of our friends all walked in in costumes and got six dozen free donuts. SOOOO MUCH SUGAR

I enjoy donuts, but not Krispy Kreme. Yuck.

Now I want apple cider donuts.

There’s an orchard here where you can buy them warm. So yummy!

I used to live near such a place. Now I live in the land that forsook apples.

Our orchard started making then last year but I find them really underwhelming. I’d rather have my own homemade apple bars or a crisp.

On my wife and my 5th date, we went to an orchard to pick apples and get cider. The place was swarming in screaming children. We quickly made our escape with the donuts and cider, and found a nice park to eat them and talk in.

However, the best donuts I’ve had come from The Donut Lounge in KC. Good espresso there too, but an amazing tumeric mocha.
