Hahahahaha
I feel like I need a medical translation lol
They’re the names of the real meds (and procedures in the case of cardioversion) we use for atrial fibrillation, just phrased as “oil of”. ie, don’t use essential oils for a fib haha. (A fib being a dangerous heart rhythm problem).
Yes. I got a zappy zap instead (it was a fib or something similar, I don’t have my records). Though I can’t imagine being in a fib and thinking “I should attempt oils instead of immediate hospital”
A few of my friends have ThermoMixes and I have been suggested recipes and I’m like “wot is this, where r my methods”
Chronic a fib with long term treatment is common, so people can be on Coumadin for a looong time. It doesn’t always (or often even I think) require immediate treatment. Totally dependent on the patient though. It’s v fib (the ventricles of the heart rather than the atria) that’s an ohshitohshit type situation.
I think any time people are on a med for a really long time, especially once the condition is well managed, they start to be like “hmmm but do I really need it?” to varying degrees.
We have this book. I love it
Someone gave us an ABC book for Pebbles 1st birthday. It was religious and I was fine with that, BUT, it is the absolute worst. C is for curse, (not Christ maybe?), G is for gnats (as in plague…not God? Plus the g is silent wtf?), and on and on. I thought it was a joke at first.
…wut.
