This is so sweet, the sleeping bees.
The big fat buzzing bees are favorites of mine. I always enjoyed the Carpenter bees at our community garden, too. They would hover around us at the pergola, trying to intimidate us. But never attacking. I found their postering amusing.
oh my goodness! they are both beautiful but that first one especially, wow! the little twizzles around the middle make my heart skip a beat!
The twizzles get me too! It’s the Shooting Stars seed, maybe you’ll end up with something similar. Did you plant all of the seeds or do you have some left for next year? I’ve only planted a few a year because I don’t have that much space.

what are you going to try to get? i’m really hoping i can get the unicorn mix most of all! johnny’s and some other purveyors have colors similar to the paler floret zinnias, but there’s nothing else like the unicorns!

I ordered Bees Choice Dahlias and Golden Hour and Dawn Creek Pastels Zinnias. I would be happy to share if you want, I was going to get the Cancan Girls Dahlias, so I would especially like some of them.
I was on the fence about ordering anything because I still have Petite Floret and Shooting Stars Dahlia seeds and lots of other companies Zinnia seeds. But what the hell, just buy more! 
My problem is space, I really do not want (will! not! make! ha) more flower bed space in my yard. I have quite wide beds literally the entire way around the house plus on both sides of the garage plus another shaded bed.
was feeling overwhelmed so I pretended to be Erin Benzakein for a little while in my sisters dahlia patch. And brought some home for my desk. (also if you’re not watching the Floret Flowers current youtube series of monthly vlogs, you definitely should!)
I just watched August last night but I think I missed the two before that. I enjoy watching them.
