WHAT? You can do that?! I’m still learning. Each and every day.
Perhaps it is rude to tear apart the bunches but I’ve never gotten in trouble after years of doing this. If there are already single bananas out (which there typically are) I start with those.

As a toddler mom I appreciate the torn apart bunches. Sometimes I need 1-2 bananas. Sometimes I need 9

several of the indie shops by us have two prices for bananas, the regular price and the ‘you broke apart bunches’ price. The 2nd price is higher. So I guess it varies by shop and region.
