Props to those engineers -
When I was a kid I would get super dismayed when one of my parents left if I missed my chance say I loved them because maybe I’d never see them again.
I still save all their voicemails.

Feel good happy thing:
I helped at a pet food outreach today and this little cat came and was playing amongst the supplies & eventually fell asleep. Incredibly social, friendly, and tolerant (let me pick him up and also let me rub his tummy).
Apparently he’s a feral, not anyone’s pet. One of the other volunteers took him to get him adopted into a home. He’s gonna make someone sooooo happy.
