I did my taxes!!! I was procrastinating because RSUs from my work always make things fun, but I did it!!
I have emailed the two references for the big renovation.
Calling the next task: the library is now supporting printing, so tomorrow I will generate the pdf that needs to be printed and will walk it up to the other library (our branch isn’t in the first rollout from the ransomware recovery) to get it done.
I cackled at this photo.
Also I helped Sawwhet file her quarterly business taxes and it’s doooone
forms filled out, payment made, pdfs created of form and proof of payment, usb found, files copied over, walked in blustery flurries to other library, got in queue for the one computer set up to print, waited around, got everything printed, headed home
tomorrow I need to buy a return envelope, and prep to send it to its destination
I haven’t used a USB in ages
I gotta renew my passport. I see three steps:
- Print and fill out application
- Get photo taken (mr krmit can do this for me this weekend)
- Put shit in mail
My goal is to have step 3 done by Monday. But step 1 can definitely happen today.
I need to call my doctor to replace my birth control implant.
I’m trying to pay our tax prep service. They have a Venmo, so easy peasy right?
- Find my Venmo log in info
- Try to pull up their name. The @ they have doesn’t pull up their name, weird. The third way I try entering their name finally pulls up the right thing.
- Realize that the bank account I want to use isn’t on there. Add new account for it to pull money from.
- “There was an error. Please try again later.”
This may drive me to pay by check just to be done with it.
High-ish urgency:
- Pay opthalmologist bill - low difficulty
- Send in the thing for an account saying yes this is mine plz no surrender to the state as unclaimed funds - medium difficulty in practice but low in a non ADHD alternate universe
- Roll over some $ from places - I’m not even sure where to start and I may have to make a phone call on Monday
I bought the prepaid return envelope, prepped the package to send it to the destination, had the shadowy one review to make sure I didn’t miss anything obvious, and dropped it off at the post office. Now to wait.
that is a well earned rest
Apparently I need to do a consult before I can get it replaced. 2 appointments, not one.
Irritating, but at least the first one is booked.
Annual report is drafted. All 29 pages of it.
