Hi tax angels,

I have a question about charitable donations – I know there is only a certain amount that I can deduct each year… I am wondering if only 501c3 orgs are eligible?
This year so far I have donated to one 501c3 campaign, donated monthly to a non 501c3 mutual aid group, and donated about 25 billable hours to a disabled community member who needed help with pets.

Is only the 501c3 org deductible?
