I saw an interview recently with the actresses for Mom Featherington and the two older sisters. They get along great and the two sisters said they really like the comedy they get to do when they’re being ridiculous. They’re really getting to shine in that respect with it being Pen’s season.

I haven’t watched the season yet but in the books Francesca gets married well before Colin does. She actually gets married the 2nd time (she is widowed after 2 years and then goes on to marry her deceased husband’s cousin) right after Colin and Eloise. Colin-Eloise-Francesca#2 all happen within a few weeks of each other.
That matches with what I’d heard- I’ll let you watch it then I’m interested to hear your thoughts!
I loved the featherington family arc! It was the perfect line between sweet and the usual ridiculousness
End of six, beginning of seven.
Summary
OH SHIT!!!
Colin coming out of the dark!
Lady Danbury telling her brother about how he took her freedom from her!
Ooh i got my days sort of mixed up. Dammit i wonder if it was out last night my time. Will be watching some tonight, YAY!
Hmmmm I think Netflix disabled access to my account (a family account and they realized that apparently I don’t live with the other family members lol). So. No Bridgerton. Or maybe a new household expense? TBD
GET IT LADY B
Episode 8 Spoilers & Future Speculation
Yes!!! I audibly gasped, that was a really good hide on the show’s part. Lady rake future season!!!
My wife (non-book-reader) is really rooting for a queer Eloise, so maybe Michaela will get Eloise into some queerer company / fun trouble in Scotland?
That arty bro is such a fuckboy. Go away.
The way he was like “uhh I dance sometimes” because even he knows that for someone with his fuckboy-ness “I went to art school for a little while” is cringe.
I’ve met many versions of this guy. I’ve slept with a few of them. None of them were good in or out of bed.
I’ve watched 5 and 6 so far (vagueness ahead, no major spoilers)
-I don’t understand how they are ever planning to circle Benedict back around toward anything resembling what happens in his book.
-I appreciate that they are doing more with relationships between women. Cressida Cowper is a pretty cardboard villainess in the book and giving her some depth and backstory is good. I don’t mind her being, you know, uncomfortable for a while because she’s been so mean, but I don’t want her trapped in marital purgatory for a couple of decades, either.
And some of the plot between Eloise and Penelope was between Colin and Penelope in the book, and I like them adding some depth to that friendship.
I came across this picture of the Bridgerton sisters actresses and it has confirmed that my issue with Francesca’s look is 100% the heavy make up. I like her look so much better here, especially since she’s supposed to be around 17-19 in the show.
Aw she looks so cute here! I wonder if her natural look is maybe too… Carefree? And it didn’t feel in line with Francesca’s quiet, somewhat serious and solitary character.
Benedict the fuckboy
That threesome looked like if a ballet was trying to show a threesome. Li’l over choreographed.
Is season 4 or 5 going to be, actually he DOES want to commit, he just doesn’t want to commit to you?
I’m curious if next season will be Benedict. It almost has to be right? Hyacinth and Gregory seem far too young to be up next.
ETA I straight up forgot Eloise lol
They might do a time jump and make it Francesca and Eloise at the same time???
This is what I was wondering too.
I wondered about that, too- frankly I’m not sure I can see them doing a whole gay season, and IIRC both of those stories have a lot of time away from the family so combining them might be less claustrophobic for the viewers.
