BINGO 2025

Highlighted squares are done. Comments are in italic. All caps = also on last year’s list. The card has been revised. I couldn’t get it to paste here successfully, sigh.

Ok. Time to refocus and get back on track. I’m hoping to finish my part of Project #3 (Farm) by the end of next week. Then I’ll be saving up money for framing. Then it will be on to Project #5 (tote bags).

I also need to stop borrowing library books that tell me the obvious things about lifestyle, and move onto my fibre reading list.

And I need to finish INJW and the past Sketchbook Revivals. Wild Wonder apparently did happen this year. It’s on right now. I’m not doing it because I have no mental space for it right now. I have too much that needs finishing.

At this point I need a whole new BINGO card. Different priorities than January. I find myself easily sidetracked by them.

Same! Although more because I didn’t think some of them through & just slapped any old goal on there. I probably don’t have the vacation time to visit nephew, for one thing. So, too much travel & visiting, and that was predictable. For example. Still, it keeps the goal in the forefront, and I will prioritize it next year. All in all, it’s been a valuable exercise. I’ve never been good at NY resolutions/long term goals (not as a slam, just noting facts), but this format seems to resonate better than other things I’ve tried.

And it’s about progress, no? If these goals are no longer priorities, there’s no reason to keep yourself beholden to this format.

I don’t know how to quote people, but yes, I 100% agree. It’s about progress, which is why I keep coming back to this thread. I’m still hoping to get the majority of my items finished. But, truthfully, if I don’t, I’ve still accomplished a lot this year.

Currently I’m avoiding my very messy studio. I’m slowly selling off excess supplies and materials. I so need to downsize my crafting supplies. I think next year there will be something on my BINGO card about doing a deep clean of the studio.

Finished drawing patterns on all the tote bags - Project #5. I have 3/6 ready to sew together. 1/6 is completed. I still have some surface design to do on 2/6.

On the last step of Project #3. Should finish next week.

Hi. I decided to buy the ebook of “Fabric of Civilization” to read. The actual book had such fine print I could not track it on the page. I’m now halfway through the book.

I’m done Budgetober now too. Yippee! For some reason that particular challenge is very useful for me.

Here’s my updated BINGO card. As always, my goal is to get the entire card green.

Finished reading “Fabric of Civilization”. Another BINGO!

Narrowing in on projects I’ve been procrastinating on finishing.

  • South Korea visual journal,
  • South Korea appliqué quilt,
  • catching up on Sketchbook Revival,
  • Project #5 (tote bags),
  • Read “The Golden Thread”.

The Perpetual Journal shouldn’t have been on this BINGO card. It’s a project that will go on for years.

Update: I’m not going to finish my entire card, but I’ve come very close! And I’ve accomplished a lot that’s not on my card. So I’m happy.

(Notes below)

I barely looked at the visual journal from 2017 that I was supposed to finish. Maybe next year. I started it, just need to finish.

I started reading “The Golden Thread” the other night. Another book with very fine type and a bad editor. :disappointed:. I may not make it through this one.

I haven’t even pulled out the appliqué quilt to work on. I started it last year.

As noted in my other posts, the perpetual journal shouldn’t even be on there. It’s called perpetual for a reason…it’s never ending!

Sketchbook Revival. This is a matter of finding time. I am busy spinning and doing other projects. Plus I’m involved in a community group now that encourages participation. We’ll see.

I’m working on the tote bags now. One sold, one spoken for. 3/6 complete. I’m working on #4. Hopefully I’ll finish this project before Christmas.

I have basically not checked in all year. Here is the end state of my bingo card.

I may or may not have gotten one bingo. Because I did potty train Mo. Kind of. Potty training was definitely done in some capacity. But it didn’t really stick through my exhausting third trimester and the arrival of her brother. So bing-ish.

@Greyweld it counts!

I actually got a bingo, was not sure it would happen. But i threw “don’t get fired” on my card when i couldn’t think of any more goals. And that did the trick!

2025 bingo…made one, with a couple things WIP and a couple things I ended up forgetting about tracking, so going to try to make 2026 a little clearer in some areas. And maybe actually finish a few things around the house.

I only got one BINGO all year–and only because on Dec. 30 I decided to do a submission spree. And cheated a little. Oh well. Happy new year peeps!
