Finished planning spring and summer garden. I have the plants. I’m just waiting for the nights to warm up. A lot of the garden is covered as is. I might plant stuff out and cover more.
I’m still working on project #3 (farm), and I’m still reading “The Fabric of Civilization”.
I need to create more tote bag designs.
The Perpetual Nature Journal is ongoing and really shouldn’t be on my BINGO card. It doesn’t have an “end”, just as the name suggests.
I’m doing very good this year. But I still see a lot of yellow squares I’m stalled on.
I just discovered today that Sketchbook Revival ends today! I thought it was in September this year! I quickly paid for the VIP pass so I’d have access to the workshops after today. Once I wind up the INJW exercises, I’ll switch to working on Sketchbook Revival workshops.
Thank-you. I just get discouraged because I know these projects are a fraction of what I want to do in life. And I know some of them will take a long time to complete. But thanks for the vote of confidence!
The only update I have is I’ve watched 5 more lectures of “A Field Guide to the Planets”. That, plus I’m going full tilt on Project #3 (farm). Not worth posting another screen shot.
I’ve finished the 2nd minor plumbing project and my schedule has freed up so that I can take the 3 swim classes. I had hoped to start this week, but did not get up in time today. Several other things are in progress (as they have been). Not an earth-shattering update, but hadn’t realized I could mark off another box until you posted, so thanks!
Since we’re halfway through the year I remembered to take a look at mine! Highlighted means done. The ones that involve writing and contacting banks are always the toughest…
Hi. I zoomed in on your BINGO card and see 5 “Write a poem” squares and at least three “Submit to at least 5 journals”. My guess is you’re a writer? As another creative, what do you think is holding you back on those goals?
I’m an artist. Over the years I’ve had numerous creative blocks and disillusionment with my career etc. Truth is, for me anyways, I create because I have to for my health. If I don’t create, I suffer mentally, physically, spiritually and emotionally. It’s just hard to get excited to do anything.
Guess I’m posting this to give you a bit of a nudge. If it’s something you are passionate about, you need to make time for it. Even if it’s to pass the kids to your SO for an hour to pen a haiku or something. Hugs.
Tour de Fleece has started! Another yellow square. No more green ones yet though…Really working hard on “Project #3 (farm).”. That and sidetracked by nature journaling and fibre dyeing.
Hi! Yes, I’m a writer. Mainly poetry. It’s 100% a hobby but also a deep love of mine; I went to school for it, etc. But for me, writing is like going to the gym: I always feel good after I’ve done it, and often during, but before, I’ll take just about any excuse not to do it. With writing (as with many creative pursuits), there’s just no external motivation to do it, and when you have a small kid, there’s plenty of reason not to!
Thanks for the push! and best of luck in your creative endeavors too!
How many squares can you fill in and not get a BINGO? Quite a few apparently! I know I have the one across the top, but I want this whole card done! I’ve got to regroup and refocus on those yellow squares next.
