We’ve had no surges of cases in my area with mass protesting and outdoor masked gatherings. So I’m not worried about the celebrations. I am concerned about the unmasked Trump/voter fraud protests I’m seeing right now.

Yeah, I completely agree. It was disheartening to see various forms of no-Trumpists or other calls for ideological purity checks in a lot of my queer groups the past few days.
Would you be willing to elaborate on what you disagree with on the Biden platform? I really value your perspective! If not publicly, then via PM? If not, I get it

My neighbor went to the celebration in our neighborhood and said it was crowded like Pride.
Hard pass for me. I want to be out there too, but I fear this is going to be another spike in the making. And we’re already exponentially increasing by, like, a lot.

This movement was complete news to me, and they already have almost 200 electoral votes worth of states signed up to it. It’s a way to partially fix the mismatch between popular vote and electoral college without a constitutional amendment
