Those stickers are cute!
I am going to rework my bingo. I don’t know what to put on it, but there is no way I can achieve most stuff on there.

I gotta redo mine. I pretty much accepted that going to the climbing gym isn’t gonna happen this year, so that one is out.
I forgot to do a September update, but I have two more squares filled in
Still need to do my reforecast
And I lost my spreadsheet with my old card so I remade it and changed some of the colours
If you have done all of the colored squares I think you have a bingo.
I claimed a bingo a few months ago when I completed the line just trying to fill the board now
Ahhh this is GREAT nnls!!!
I need to revise my bingo sheet and need to think of some more fun ideas. Of the squares I haven’t done yet, they were about 50/50 fun vs. chores. But there’s a lot more chore stuff I can do in a pandemic so most of my fun stuff is off the table.
Old square: 5000 m swim
New square: something athletic but not sure what since I’m rehabbing the broken foot. Maybe a certain number of squats or pushups in a week?
Old square: Get a massage
New square: something comforting/relaxing/de-stressing? I would love a massage and places are open, but I don’t think I’d feel comfortable with that yet
Old square: See a play
New square: ???
Old square: Go backpacking
New square: ???
Old square: Take a random nice day off work and go to a park
New square: ???
Old square: Take a new class at the gym
New square: I guess I could take a new video class, but I’m not that excited about it. I would be excited about setting up my bike on Zwift or getting a computrainer, but those sound expensive and complicated. Although, heck, if I’m not paying for a gym membership, maybe it would be worth it.
Old square: Attend college sporting event
New square: ???
“Take a random nice day off work and go to a park” seems like a very covid-friendly goal. Why do you need to replace it?
Backpacking also seems plausible.
I’m replacing the “random nice day off” since I need to plan days off in advance to ensure supervisor coverage at work. I do have some midweek days off planned for October and November, but that doesn’t fulfill the “wake up and call in because it’s a beautiful day” feeling that I was going for with the original square.
Backpacking totally would have been doable except I fractured a bone in my foot. So, not removing for covid-related reasons, but still not going to happen this year.
Just updated my Bingo. I have two rows which have just one square left, but in both cases the last square is going to be a tough one. Hmm… Given that I started in August, I’m going to try, but if I don’t, might do some swaps, and commute some of the hardest stuff to next year. Whatever I decide, this is a super-useful and fun exercise…
Two more squares. And still no rows. Apparently I knew myself really well in August… lol
Similar situation…some new stuff, but no rows. I keep putting off house stuff and I really need to get back to it before the weather is consistently bad enough to keep me from running the power tools outside (although the fires/smoke haven’t been helping either).
Yay! Congratulations
Ooo now you need to pick your prize!!
So, uh, I haven’t been updating, but this is the status:
Since some of these are impossible, and I never figured out alternatives for them, the path of least resistance is to sew a bra.
So I guess I need to sew a bra.
(And also make @Greyweld’s prize, GOD I am terrible. (Sorry @Greyweld )
BINGO! I thought it wasn’t going to be possible without MAJOR revisions, but I forgot about diagonal bingos . Also, the December challenge gave me a boost on this (the last one was life insurance). Unlikely to get much further unless holiday cards count as sending letters to friends
. But I got my bingo, and got it cleanly without changing any of the goals, and for this year that’s pretty great.
Also, since I kind of covered them up, the winning line is:
Doctor visit
Invest money in Rutgers retirement account
Donate old shoes
Pay off one credit card
Get life insurance
