Videos of well behaved cats really just make me think it’s a good thing my cat is cute. 
ETA my cat likes to sit on my lap sometimes when I eat. Last night she stole a noodle off my plate and ran off with it.

One time we fostered these kittens and one of them hopped up on my lap while I was sitting on the couch with a plate of lasagne. This tiny kitten immediately attacks a giant lasagne noodle, and actually manages to run away with it. We were laughing so hard and making all the Garfield jokes.

I eat sitting on the floor in the living room fairly often, and if I end up close to the couch my cat will perch on the arm then sooooo sloooowly reach a paw out towards my plate, like 1. his leg will magically stretch like inspector gadget to reach my food and 2. I don’t notice he is doing this. Sometimes he gets so focused on the goal he falls right off

Ice cream - when SO sits on the sofa with his tub the cat will sit next to him, reach and use her paw to move his hand with the spoon to her. Now she knows if she sits and watches him he will give her a tiny lump at the end.

I should say there are hundreds of deer around in the town I’m living in…but it’s not often you get a big guy with such beautiful antlers so close to the house. Also I thought the magpie friend perched on his back was pretty adorable in the first pic
