I got an answer to one of my previous questions
Which was, what happens if you guess a word with two of the same letters but the answer only has one?
At least in this case, the extra letter was gray.
My penultimate guess was NIECE. The extra E in the middle was gray, not yellow.
I’m kind of glad for that, it could otherwise be very confusing.

Bittersweet. Lucky first guess but couldn’t get it in 3! Simulating “hard mode” where you have to use validated guessed letters in subsequent guesses.
