It looks like the two versions were both hard today but in different ways. You had a lot of options and too many places to put them. I (and others on the NYT) was running out of letters to try! After 4 guesses I still only knew one letter.

What do the clocks mean?
11 12 and 13 guesses. The time on the clock represents the number of guesses.
In sedecordle they use two buttons to represent each number, to deal with all the two digit guesses.

I was starting to wonder if I even had chance! Aside from the first letter that I got right and carried through, all the letters and subsequent guesses were unique. Whew!

And I failed the octordle. 
Dordle was OK but I forgot to copy my results. And I didn’t get to play Wordle because Son played it without me on my computer! As soon as I pulled up Wordle, there was the word. He didn’t know that word.

my brain is definitely struggling on the type of number manipulations I historically have been able to do without a calculator. Like I wasn’t sure on 3x6x4. I told a colleague on Thursday that I knew I wasn’t on my game, but this just put it into sharp focus.
