I failed the wordle for the first time today - I got the first letter on my first guess and then no other letters, not even a yellow one, until guess 4. And I ran out of guesses. Booo.

I didn’t get it either. There are A LOT of letter combinations that could work. Even though I had the last 3 letters pretty early, and I was only missing the 2nd letter for awhile. This is the first one I didn’t get

Guess 3 was a fish for more letters and I got one. After guess 3 I could see three possible words, so guess four was to discriminate between them. Playing in hard mode would have made it much more difficult.

Me too. I failed at wordle and only got one word for dordle. I was blaming myself that I did the puzzles at 1 am but from the comments above I am not the only one having challenges with them today.
