I really need to remember to do FEAST instead of TEARS so GIRLY won’t have a duplicate R. It means I’m not likely to get it solved in under three words but it addresses fifteen letters including all vowels and Y so that helps me a lot with figuring out options.

I eliminated some letters with word 5 and that helped me finally see it.

Once I realized that it had to be PER with no other vowels, I was kind of stuck on their being an H, like PERCH (except had already eliminated C). Eliminated the H helped me see that there had to be a Y. Anything with a K is always tough!

I assume that it is due to being a term for a British cop, where I think it is not a proper noun. (Also the aforementioned bobby pin.)
Wordle took “Mucho” and I was surprised.
