My reddit account got hacked last night. I was able to get back in and change my password, but the account is now banned due to the hacker’s spammy activity.
I’ve submitted a help ticket and an appeal, but searches suggest that the ban is unlikely to get lifted and if it does, it could take months.
I guess at least I can still log in and see the usual posts curated by the algorithm, but I can’t comment or make new posts and all my old comments and posts have been automatically hidden.
Anyway, PSA to turn on 2FA!!!

Decided to go thru the parts bins of buttons this morning. Because of the boxes (mine & DH’s) stacked in front of the bookcase with the parts bins, I can’t get the drawers out, so I’m having to take them out 1 handful at a time…

I slept like crap, but woke up early enough to read before work. I was looking forward to a quiet slow morning…then as I was putting the lid on my coffee mug, the entire 20oz cup dumped all over my counter and laptop. Instead of reading I mopped the kitchen and cleaned all of the counters, and my laptop, while uncaffeinated

When someone friend requests you on FB and you have some mutuals and they look vaguely familiar so you figure you met them at a parade or something… and it turns out that their personal FB is almost entirely selling handmade costumes and headpieces.
