This whole series is so cute & funny to me. 
Someone has been an angel all day and is trying to make up for being a holy terror yesterday. Must have heard us making the appointment with the trainer…
Our dog opens his mouth for his pills when I ask him to.
Neighbor is still doing “construction” and it’s so much that our walls and floors are shaking so B has decided to bark lots and then lay here to protect me and help count stitches…

He is exhausted from a night of hunting every black bean from the jar he knocked over.
Last night Sprocket didn’t sleep with me. Unprecedented. This morning he refused breakfast. Worrying. I was all set to freak out when a kid pointed out that he spent the whole night supervising the cats while they stalked the beans. So Sprocket isn’t sick or anything. He’s just a controlling asshole.
New Pup spent the entire night before last barking and running into the living room every five to ten minutes, to the extent I put a baby gate first at the living room, then kitchen, then hall, then finally bedroom (where Oldster woke up at 3am, promptly walked straight into it, then peed on the floor).
By midnight or so I ran out of ideas as to why she was being so loud and bear hugged her in bed until she fell asleep. This whole scenario was repeated many many times until I gave up at 5am.
I took down the gate and she and Oldster trotted ahead into the living room where I heard her attack him (just knocked him over), then him screaming and the neighbor’s lights flipping on after their dog reacted. She was still barking and making crazy gremlin sounds and I was starting to wonder if this was related to her TBI and it’s just a thing she’ll do now and then…
Turns out she kept me up ALL NIGHT LONG and repeatedly went after Oldster and the cat because I hadn’t put away the bags of dog food I had delivered 
As soon as I unpacked the box she was FINE.
She and Sprocket owe us fancy coffee.
Yes they do. Such asshole.
