He needed parenting today and I couldn’t handle it. Within 5 minutes of some Netflix show about the most dangerous predators he’d moved from being active, to the end of the sofa, to like this, where he stayed until he was ready to nap.

Hi, sorry to be this person, but lilies are highly toxic to cats up to and including even just the water a lily had been sitting in. It can lead to kidney failure and even death. Please be careful with cats and lillies, and best practices include not having any lilies in your home or planting any outside where your cat can have access to them.

Not my pet but a mated pair of local hawks that live in my neighborhood (red shouldered hawks I think?)
