Got a new job with a huge raise.
Was able to support a family of 3 on my salary, with savings left over, which I never thought I could do.

Bought a house and had the financial flexibility to take our high-needs rescue dog to three different specialists. He’s much better now!

Listening to the stream now - can we do this every year? This is great!

Quit my job in March and haven’t had to tap investments! I’ll never be stuck in a terrible job I hate again.

Managed to negotiate things so that finances will be split (not happening until 2022 but have already started splitting some of the cash accounts) but co-housing/co-parenting costs will continue to be shared until DD heads off to college. There are still occasional bumps with this arrangement, but overall things have settled out and life is much easier than even a few months ago. Our household spending should come in at around 60k, even with some unplanned expenses like:

10k+ on home repairs
7k+ on mediation
2k+ on emergency vet
2k+ on car stuff (repairs and gift of registration/insurance for DS’s car)
3k+ spent on trip we didn’t take - will use the credit next year
