Hm, that looks good for camping! I don’t think it would work for me for home use though, my hangars are all heavy wooden hangars and it isn’t great to hang things wet on them (besides being heavy). 15’ length is a bit limiting too, for my setup.
Yup those free gold plated dogs ! Honestly I think even breeder dogs need help to become good citizens. If you don’t have that experience already in your friends/family network, and videos/books don’t work and you need experienced help, really good pros are expensive (as they should be).
Random question is random time:
Why is it that some people (ME) get phlegmy when they eat dairy? Ice cream defo does it for me (I end up with a cough for a half hour or so after eating ice cream and it’s a phlegmy one) and sour cream does too sometimes…
This happens to my mom too. I know it’s 100% not an issue or concern, I’m just curious.
PORQUE??
Allergy? Or intolerance?
Perhaps? I am a bit lactose intolerant, but I really thought it was just a stomach enzyme thing, not anything beyond?? My mom is not intolerant at all-- it’s from my dad’s side. hahah. Body mysteries!
Happens to my and my brothers too! Worse with reduced fat dairy and liquid milk for me.
ETA one is def lactose intolerant, and dairy def isn’t my overall health’s best friend. So I dunno if intolerance or something is why.
I don’t know why but I do know This is Known in theatre/singing communities. No dairy before performances.
When I have a cold dairy makes me phlegmy. When I’m healthy it doesn’t. The world is full of mysteries.
I hooked two of them together to make them longer (I have at least two sets I think) but yeah wooden hangers probably aren’t a good option for wet laundry
I think we’d like to play, but at the risk of being overly nice or starting to copy your expenses
Ride your bootstraps to work day
This is a legitimate issue around here isn’t it? otoh, it’s definitely improved my life so….
I laughed hard enough one of my ribs hurts a little bit. Thank you.
This happens to me with dairy. If my immune system is doing really well and I’m rarely eating foods my body hates, I can have it 1x a month or so without really noticing it. When it was a regular part of my diet it was making me extremely phlegmy/congested, and eventually caused really bad breathing/lung issues so I consider it (for me) an allergy. I can’t stand being even a little congested, so I just do dairy free everything.
Random finance question
I am getting a payrise (yay!)
With my extra money should I
- Put extra into my superannuation (will mean I pay less tax but I cant access until I am 65)
- Put extra into investments outside of super (will be indexed fund shares)
- Put extra onto my mortgage (current interest rate 1.9%)
edit: I have increased my donations already
Something else?
I wouldn’t pay off a mortgage that low. What are your financial goals?
I dont really know. I would like to be able to retire early but I dont have specific plans.
Are you planning on getting a second property or some other big purchase? Or is retirement the next thing planned?
Have you forecasted when you can retire?
If not, this might be a good moment to do it.
I currently have a second property. I dont intend to buy a third (well at this stage)
I forecast a few years ago, but havent recently. It is probably a good idea to. I am factoring in having to look after my mum as she gets older, but dont have kids or anything like that so its probably something I can forecast.
I’ve heard two songs from The Greatest Showman in pop song/radio contexts (one in a bar, one in the grocery store) in the past week. Did something happen to make it popular again?
Pride month?
