Has he tried Numi teas? Bags have no plastic (I know you were talking packaging, not the bags themselves but thought I’d mention it anyway). They have a Gunpowder Green that might suit his flavor profile. I haven’t tried their Matcha Toasted Rice variety (I find Matcha mixed with other tea just makes me want Matcha, haha). They also have a Jasmine Green.
It’s been a while since I’ve had this brand and haven’t had any of the brands you mentioned so I don’t know how it would compare, but it’s one I’ve liked even when I’ve been in hardcore loose leaf only phases.
+1 on Numi green teas. I mostly do loose leaf these days but we still have some of their stuff in the cabinet that I enjoy if I don’t feel like finding the stuff to steep the leaves in.
For some reason my insurance paid 100% of my therapy bills for a few months this year (after not paying them earlier in the year), and now I’m getting billed again. I’m honestly not sure why they were paying 100% for a while in the first place, and I’m scared to ask why that’s stopped and have them be like “oooh, that was a mistake, here’s $$$$ in bills for you.”
You mean like telehealth? Yes, they’re all via video. It’s UnitedHealth. Not on a copay plan, but a HDHP where you pay 100% of the “discounted” price until deductible, then insurance pays 80% up to OOP max
Where does one get larger than normal toques? My larger child has a gigantic cranium. It’s like an orange on a toothpick. It’s a virtual planetoid.*
I tried searching for large toques and it showed normal ones. Standard ones don’t fit. Help!
yes, those are quotes from So I Married An Axe Murderer, which is the best movie of all time. Fight me.
(Footnotes turn into bullet points with this formatting. I’m sorry.)
My mom has a giant skull and only ever found one hat that fits her; it made her look like a mushroom.
I believe the real answer is to find a knitter. Too bad there’s so few of us on the forums. (I have two big projects actively on the needles, or I would fully volunteer myself, but I need to get projects off my plate instead of adding. I imagine BK could use a hat now and not in two months.)
This (amazing!) offer reminded me that the grandparent he inherited the ridiculous skull from is a knitter, and has been asking what he wants for xmas. Grampa is now going to make a toque.
I couldn’t remember if americans call them caps or beanies or what. Why do you guys have to deviate on the naming of winter hats? It’s confusing for me.
I just downloaded the movie because my kids need to see it. Want to come over for movie night?
I’m pretty sure it’s regional, like so much else. (Had to dial in the election snark there, so many possibilities). Locally they’re beanies, but skull caps, snow caps, knit hats, etc all make the rounds from what I’ve seen
