Since the kids have been learning to sew from your mom - maybe they would enjoy designing / sewing some things for you.

That was many moons back. It didn’t end up clicking with them. But maybe that will change

Where is everyone buying their vitamins these days? I am apparently deficient and need methyl B12, vitamin D, vitamin K2, and omega 3.

Ideally I’d like to order them all from the same place to make it simple to do FSA reimbursement since we have $$$ to use before the end of the year

I am lazy and order from Amazon. My parents get theirs in enormous quantities at Sam’s club.

I used to buy mine from Costco, but I don’t have a membership anymore. I just bought a multivitamin for the first time in ages from my local grocery store, but am definitely interested in better selection/prices because I’m pretty sure I paid 3x as much as I used to.

IHerb is a good reputable option. I try to avoid amazon for contraband issues. (Is that the word I want? Fake).

H wants us to look at Nordic Naturals so that’s the website I’m on. I won’t do Amazon since I’m worried about counterfeits plus all the other reasons. It seems expensive but so is feeling shitty. I can apparently get all that I need there so I might start with these.

Apparently I can get my vitamin D and K2 combined in a gummy, and to get what the doc wants me to take I need 5 a day. Idk if that’s excessive or if I’m excited about gummies

I love that you’re excited about gummies. I have three other daily medications (one of which is a freaking horse pill I swear) that adding one more, moderately sized vitamin pill just seems more of the same. So be excited about gummies :green_heart:

I’ll look into this too! I just want it to be as simple as possible. I’m starting to have flashbacks to my TTC supplement regime and getting overwhelmed at figuring out where to get it all and make sure it’s good

My grocery store has them bogo quite often so I just buy mine there

I really love Vitacost, because they frequently have great prices+coupon codes. But I also get some supplements at Costco and/or Sam’s club.

+1 for vitacost. Though they will sell things with only a month left on the expiration date. Which is fine, unless you buy enough for a year

Well.ca or a health food store. But I take costco half bottles from people, walmart, amazon and also what I find at the drugstore if I’m not intentional.

Is amazon actually selling knock off vitamins?

I don’t know how to link posts but:

Who knows things about chiles? The recipe calls for guajillo, ancho and habanero, and I was only able to find guajillo, so I also grabbed serrano and costeno peppers. Since it’s beer should it not matter that much? Are they super different from each other? Advice?

The problem with amazon is that they don’t do anything to verify third party sellers.

Counterfeit car seats are apparently a big problem on amazon too.

The ancho will give you smoky-sweet-earthy where the habanero will give heat-fruity. But the guajillo should cover for most of the ancho, the seranno is plenty hot for the habanero substitute, and the costeno will give a little extra to it.

Plus, like you said, in the beer a lot of that will be diluted and not overly noticeable. You should be good to go. It’ll be a little different, but not terribly so

If you have a cat, what were your must-haves for toys, treats, furniture, etc?

Ribbon toys/cat dancers. I have yet to meet a cat who’s not into them.

Some sort of scratcher – we have the cardboard tray scratchers and I’d like to get a post scratcher too.
