Be aware though, I was told they’re for comfort, it’s not going to prevent DR from progressing. Only PT and such can do that.

What really helped me on this was to do a “I can’t pick you up but I CAN x” some thing I would offer: taco (wrap her in a blanket and do silly toppings), read a book, play “mommy rough” where I used a blanket to catch her as she came toward me then bounce her off it again.

I could use this too! It is “up pease mommy” all day and I love him and my heart is shattered. We have been sitting him on the counter (with supervision) and including him in what we are doing which helps sometimes.

I’m surprised they are just doing your NIPT! I’m going Monday and it’s “pretty late” but I got like 2.7% fetal fraction at a similar time last time.

Nah, we did genetic testing which came up 
she shouldn’t have this but she does (she has a recessive albinism gene, so either something unidentified on the other gene that allowed it to pop up in the eyes or just a weird fluke of partial expression of a recessive trait) so it’s kind of a we wouldn’t be able to detect if baby 2 did have the same thing via genetic testing.

I managed to get my NIPT draw today. It was such a a pain in the ass.
Miscommunication with the doctor’s office. I thought I was supposed to go to LabCorp, and they were like wat. So they called the office and it turned out I had to go to Any Lab Test Now. But then I get there and they say I need to have a kit with me, which I didn’t get. So I go and get the kit from the doctor’s office and come back to the second place and FINALLY get it done.
Fortunately it was not at all busy because the roads are bad.
Last time they just had in office lab draws. Boom done.
