I love relaxing vacations! I can go from hot tub to eating back to hot tub to beach back to eating for ages without getting bored. I like adventurous vacations too or local living style trips. I guess I’m just very adaptable when it comes to luxury. Kind of like how I wear both white gold AND yellow gold, suede and leather, and yes, even sapphires and emeralds.
Haha same! I’m reading this going, “that sounds good,” and “Ooo that sounds good too.” Let’s try both vacations and report back. You know, for science.
My next non-family trip will be going somewhere interesting with good food, where my friend and I will lie around and read books and nap. And eat like mofos.
I am totally up for a tasting plate of vacations and testing all of these. In fact I think we’ll do that this year. We dont have the sort of all-inclusives you are talking about but I’m willing to research to find the closest sort of thing i can find here.
i like vacations where i dont have to do too much, but i can do some stuff when i feel like it. when we went to costa rica for our honeymoon, we finally signed up to do a guided hike through the jungle on like week 4 and the guide shamed us for not having seen this one mountain yet. he was like what have you been doing this whole time? uhh getting really high and snorkeling and lying in a hammock daydreaming and taking bike rides and eating at some very cute little restaurants? what’s it to you?
i personally hate the lets see all the sights all day every day type of vacation. i mean im older now but even when i was younger i would want to sit in pretty gardens and cafes for quite a lot of the day. i love museums and touristy sites but i get maxed out on them and on crowds a lot more quickly than a lot of people. it’s good to know what you like!
