Obviously it will be fiiiiii ne.
Also here is your reward
I’m crying and watching father Christmas is back. As far as I can tell the moral is that getting drunk fixes Christmas?
Just watched Love Hard! I’m glad you guys set a low bar, since I enjoyed it a ton, maybe since I had low expectations.
.
I am now starting the claus family. But apparently this year was part two, so I have to watch last year’s.
Progress thus far:
Love Hard: meh…. It was inoffensive, I guess
Princess Switch 2: (from last year, but am preparing for #3) this was fun! The actor who plays Kevin is really charismatic. The prince is blah, but in the movie pretty minimally so it’s okay. Loved 3 Vanessa Hudgens.
In progress at the moment: a California Christmas (in preparation for #2 this year)
omg i can’t wait.
I’m pulling the claus family from the list unless people speak German.
I have a spoon and chocolate hazelnut spread, so I’ll jump over to pregame California with you
So far a California Christmas is terrible enough that I’m watching it on the tiny screen while enjoying the internet. I appreciate two things: the cinematography reminds me of my youth and childhood and that the husband and wife wrote and act in it, and have repeated that feat.
The worst part of the movie I watched earlier today is that they got Colin from love actually and he’s a brilliant actor wasted in the movie. Also not enough love actually jokes
Compared to the 10 minutes of “snowbound for Christmas” that I watched before it, it was brilliant acting and scripting. I recommend watching a snippet of “Snowbound for Christmas” if anyone needs to make a movie they watch directly after seem great. Love hard had some questionable scenes and I’m about halfway through.
I’m currently attempting this too. Oooooof. This is rough.
11:30 in and I might be done
Watching Father Christmas is Back instead now. 10 min in. I hate everyone so far
I feel like they lifted the script straight from the book (which I haven’t read) and everyone was reading from an autocue?
People, when you ask for “exactly like the book”, this is the dark side of that.

Maybe we should find an Aussie list
Stan has a new Aussie Christmas movie out this year. If you have stan?
I just persuaded my housemates to watch the princess switch with me
It was great. I enjoyed spotting the source of your so time commentary, my housemate got incensed about the accents (I’m pretty sure they got the American and ik pronunciations of schedule the wrong way round, and were a delightful hot mess), and I’m incensed that they didn’t have Frank and the royal assistant lady get together at the end.
10/10 Christmas film
one for each of you.
