My favorite comment that I’ve seen so far is “Not only did lettuce outlast her, she lasted 1/10th of a Truss.”
Referencing Elizabeth Truss was was the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom in 2022 for the shortest amount of time ever, 49 days. There had been an opinion piece in The Economist that had the original comparison between Truss’s expected tenure and a head of iceburge lettuce.
