I got to take an invertebrate biology class in college and my university did a lot of research on nudibranchs. I even got to do a trip to the coast. It was very, very cool.

I took an invertebrate biology class too!
When I dissected my sea cucumber there were no intestines. Then I saw something move.
Summary
A commensal crab! The class decided to drop it back into the tank and delighted as it headed for another sea cucumber. I left, not planning to watch a crab crawl up a sea cucumber’s ass.
My cucumber was likely gutless as it’s a strategy they use when they are being predated - shoot out your guts to confuse / feed the predator
