There are vegetarian derived varieties.
The ingredient list on the parm does not specify which was used. And they’re still mad.

Ever since I learned what rennet is i always double check that the ingredient list says “vegetarian rennet”.
It took me three reads of the original post to realize what was going on tho… I’m not sure how they ended up thinking rennet is only used in packaged shredded cheese?? And that if they bought a block of Parmesan it wouldn’t have rennet? Do they think it’s an anticake agent?
