Some of us are so old we recognize him as Mikey from the Goonies. And know him as Patty Duke’s son, who we know from watching reruns of The Patty Dike Show on Nick at Nite.

(This is based on other people and what I’ve read of the laws, and this single news article Idaho libraries change policies to comply with book ban)
Apparently books that have complaints that they contain “obscene material” are required to be restricted from minors, and that is often by being moved to an “adults only” section. Not restricting access to those books can open the library to fines, lawsuits, or closures. Some rural libraries don’t have enough money/space to segregate books like that, so a few of them have just restricted minors from their building entirely
