It was a good time tho. Everyone sprawled around the living room just trying to live and having to tolerate each other long enough to have moments of spontaneous enjoyment.

An inspired selection. Recommend pairing with cabernet. Or possibly cold coffee.

Ideally from a cup with a crazy straw.

I have noticed this trend for bathers. WHY. Literally what the fuck is going on there and who is buying these things to make the companies think they should keep selling them? Nonsense.

The harmonica one is solid gold.

My husband’s 24-year-old niece wore a thong to the beach on our wedding trip and was walking around with just a kinda long t-shirt as a cover up, so it basically looked like she was just completely bare on the bottom from behind. I generally don’t consider myself a prude but I felt a little uncomfortable walking behind her! I cannot imagine wearing something like that on the beach with my mom and uncles and aunt, myself!

I wheezed at the harmonica. 100% the sort of shit my brothers would pull. Annoying AF but ultimately harmless, while also being clever? Absolutely their goal pranks.

And yes, swimsuits are very WTF right now. I recently went to the MASSIVE section at my nearby target and laughed out loud and left empty handed. I do not want my swimsuit to reside in my buttcrack by design, tyvm.

Ha, my last swim suit purchase was swim shorts from Lands End. The long sleeve swim shirts I bought from them around a decade ago are still going strong (though I don’t swim often) so I’m optimistic about the shorts. One pair is fitted, I also got another pair that’s less fitted/like mens swim trunks. Basically as opposite of thongs as possible!

I had an amazing pair of Prana swim shorts but they didn’t fit anymore and were, um, very snug in the front. It was not a good look. Thankfully someone in BN was happy to take them.

Last year I got a very modest and flattering swimsuit from Sierra so hopefully I’m set for the next time I need one!

I grew up on South Beach, so pieces of string masquerading as suits are normal to me. And that works for any gender.

(I’m sticking with rash guards and shorts though.)

And all the cut outs in dresses, or off-the-shoulder designs. I would like to cover my flab, not frame it.
